Wood lags are used when an awning or canopy frame must be connected to structural wood components such as wall studs, beams, and columns. At a minimum, the following wood lags and hardware as seen below should be included: ¼" x 3½" wood lags, ¼" x 4½" wood lags, ¼" x 6" wood lags, 3/8" x 3½" wood lags, 3/8" x 4½" wood lags, 3/8" x 6" wood lags, 5/16" i/d. x ¾" o/d. x 1/16" flat washers, and 13/32" i/d. x 13/16" o/d. x 1/16" flat washers.
