Masonry screws are used when an awning or canopy frame must be connected to structural masonry components such as CMU walls (concrete blocks), solid concrete walls, and structural brick. As a minimum, the following masonry screws and hardware as seen below should be included: ¼" x 13/4" masonry screws, ¼" x 2¼" masonry screws, ¼" x 23/4" masonry screws, ¼" x 33/4" masonry screws, 5/16" i/d. x ¾" o/d. x 1/16" flat washers, and 3/16" masonry drill bits.
