While standard scissors can be used, better results can be achieved from a pair of high
quality fabric scissors. Another standard fabric and PVC strip application tool is the
utility knive, 1) containing a standard straight blade for shaping and trimming PVC strips
and, 2) an additional one containing a special hook blade for trimming the fabric panels after
they have been completely stapled in place.
