We recommend, as a minimum, an air compressor with a tank capacity of at least 80 gallons, 6 hp electric motor, and a c.f.m. rating of 18, or better. As always, the larger the tank, particulary the c.f.m. rating, the better. This type of compressor will allow you to successfully operate two air hammers and two stapling guns simultaneously. Tank configuration, either horizontal or vertical, does not matter.
